ACT or SAT Automatic Qualifiers to the OSRHE Academic Scholars Program

All in-state freshmen who apply for admission/scholarships at OSU are considered for the following cash and tuition scholarships for 2019-2020 once they are certified as Academic Scholars by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE).

Oklahoma Academic Scholars Program: $5,500 per year

  • $5,500 per year ($2,750 per semester) cash scholarship for four years
  • Funds are used to pay for books, fees, housing, etc., up to $2,750 per semester
  • Enroll as a full-time student at OSU
  • Must maintain a 3.25 cumulative graduation/retention GPA
  • Must earn 24 credit hours by the end of the spring term each year
Tuition Scholarship: $5,360 per year (estimated)
  • Full waiver of resident tuition for up to 5 years of undergraduate and some graduate study
  • Actual value varies, depending on tuition rates and number of hours attempted
  • Enroll as a full-time student at OSU
  • Must maintain a 2.00 cumulative graduation/retention GPA
Total estimated scholarship package: $48,800* 
The tuition scholarship may be used in undergraduate and graduate school at OSU but cannot be guaranteed for students in the OSU Center for Health Sciences or the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine (CHS and CVM students may request tuition scholarships from those colleges). The tuition scholarship normally applies to fall and spring terms only. Some restrictions, terms, and conditions apply. 
*Scholarships awarded by other offices or organizations may be added to this total package, increasing your total scholarship award up to the cost of attendance at OSU. A student may only have one tuition scholarship in effect at any time.
