OSRHE Academic Scholar Program
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Academic Scholars receive substantial assistance in the form of cash and tuition scholarships. SAT and ACT scores for the Academic Scholars Program must be from national test dates. The State Regents reserve the right to alter the minimum eligibility criteria at any time. There are three categories of eligibility:
- National Merit Finalists (In-State and Out-of-State)
To qualify you must have taken the PSAT/NMSQT during the fall term of your junior year in high school.
- ACT/SAT Performance (In-State only)
The qualifying ACT sum score for 2019-2020 is 135. The sum score is calculated by adding the four subject test scores (not including composite score) from one test together. The qualifying SAT sum score ("Critical Reading" + "Math" skill area scores from one test) for 2019-2020 is 1560.
OSU Institutional Nominees (In-State and Out-of-State)
OSU may designate 40 freshman Institutional Nominees for 2019-2020. The minimum criteria to be considered for an Institutional Nominee scholarship requires either (1) at least a 32 ACT composite score (or 1420 SAT) on a national test, AND a 3.5 GPA; or (2) at least a 3.0 GPA AND top 2 percent ranking in your high school graduating class AND at least a 30 ACT composite score.
