Spring 2018 P.E.O. Scholarship for Non-Traditional Women Undergraduates

Application Deadline: January 22, 2018

Award Amount: Prorated according to number of hours enrolled

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be 25 year of age or older
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Must have a minimum 12 hours at OSU (or OSU Tulsa) with 3.0 or above GPA
  • Must have a minimum 3.00 Overall GPA
  • Must be a full-time (12 or more hours) or part-time (less than 12 hours) undergraduate for Spring 2018

Edmond Women's Club Adult Women's College Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Application Deadline: Postmarked no later than Thursday, February 1, 2018.

Eligibility criteria:

  • United States citizen.
     
  • Resident of the city of Edmond as defined by street address, live within the Edmond city boundaries, or live within the Edmond School district or have a significant interest in the Edmond Community.
     
  • Have successfully completed twenty-four (24) college credit hours at the time of application.
     
  • Applicants will be considered on the basis of demonstrated financial need, hours required to complete degree, career and educational goals, achievements and references.
     
  • The application package must include the completed and signed application (typed or printed in black ink), official transcripts of all completed college work and two letters of recommendation.

Kurt Budke Scholarship

The Kurt Budke Scholarship was formed in memory of Kurt Budke, the head women's basketball coach at Oklahoma State University killed in a plane crash in 2011. It is currently managed by the Greater Salina Community Foundation (GSCF), in Kurt's hometown of Salina, KS.

Amount: $1,000

Application Deadline: Application must be submitted by March 1, 2018.

Eligibility criteria:

  • be a full-time undergraduate or masters student currently attending OSU, Washburn University, Wichita State University or Lousiana Tech University to receive the scholarship
     
  • demonstrate financial need
     
  • demonstrate leadership
     
  • have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
     
  • submit one reference letter
     
  • complete and submit essay on why leadership is important and what kind of leader you aspire to be
