Institutional Nominees to the OSRHE Academic Scholar Program / In-State

Oklahoma State University may nominate a very limited number of in-state and out-of-state new freshmen for the Academic Scholar Program of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE). OSU offers a very competitive scholarship package to these students, known as Institutional Nominees. All freshmen who apply for admission/scholarships at OSU, and who are nominated by OSU are guaranteed the following cash and tuition scholarships for 2019-2020 once they are confirmed as Academic Scholars by OSRHE:

  • Funds are used to pay for books, fees, housing, etc., up to $1,400 per semester
  • Enroll as a full-time student at OSU

The tuition scholarship may be used in undergraduate and graduate school at OSU but cannot be guaranteed for students in the OSU Center for Health Sciences or the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine (CHS and CVM students may request tuition scholarships from those colleges). The tuition scholarship normally applies to fall and spring terms only. Some restrictions, terms, and conditions apply.
*Scholarships awarded by other offices or organizations may be added to this total package, increasing your total scholarship award up to the cost of attendance at OSU. A student may only have one tuition scholarship in effect at any time.
