In-State Scholarships for 2018-2019
Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
For grants, loans, Federal Work-Study and some scholarships, you must fill out the FAFSA. We recommend all students file their FAFSA as soon after Oct. 1 as possible for the most financial aid consideration. For more information, visit fafsa.gov.

|Academic Excellence Award||A four-year partial tuition waiver.||

|Regent's Distinguished Scholarship||A four-year partial tuition waiver.||
$10,000 ($2,500 x 4 years) OR
$12,000** ($3,000 x 4 years)
|Requires at least a 30 ACT or 1390 SAT AND a 3.0 unweighted HS GPA.|
|Academic Opportunity Award||A four-year partial tuition waiver.||$10,000 ($2,500 x 4 years)||A need-based award. Preference is given to students from underrepresented high schools, lower income areas of the state or first-generation college students.|
|Cowboy Covenant - An Oklahoma's Promise Partnership||Oklahoma's Promise is a state scholarship program for registered participants that covers tuition at OSU. Cowboy Covenant is a four-year cash award funded by OSU.||Full tuition (Oklahoma's Promise) AND $4,000 ($1,000 x 4 years)||Available to Oklahoma's Promise recipients who are fully admitted to OSU and demonstrate financial need (as determined by the FAFSA). |Oklahoma State Regents' Institutional Nominee (OSRHE)||A five-year full tuition waiver and four-year cash award funded by the state. Limited number available.||Up to $37,200||Qualifying criteria set annually by the State Regents in late fall. See http://okhighered.org/academic-scholars for details.|
|Oklahoma State Regents' Academic Scholars (OSRHE)||A five-year full tuition waiver and four-year cash award funded by the state.||Up to $48,000||Based on ACT/SAT scores at or above the 99.5 percentile for OK residents. |National Merit Scholarship||A five-year full tuition waiver and a combination of state, university, and National Merit funding.||Up to $67,000||The National Merit Scholarship Corporation determines requirements and eligibility. National Merit Finalists must select OSU as their first choice. See http://nationalmerit.org and http://financialaid.okstate.edu/national-merit for details.|
|Academic College Scholarships||Value and terms vary by academic college and department.||Varied||Based on the major students indicate on their application for admission, OSU academic colleges award scholarships. Selection may be based on a number of factors, including test scores and GPA, leadership and community service, essays, interviews and/or auditions.|
|President's Distinguished Scholarship||A four-year cash award.||Up to $10,000 (Up to $2,500 x 4 years)||Highly competitive selection. Requires a 27 ACT or 1280 SAT score, a minimum 3.75 GPA and a strong record of leadership as indicated on the application for admission.|
|President's Leadership Council (PLC) Scholarship||A one-year cash award. Students serve on the President's Leadership Council.||$1,500 (1 year)||Highly competitive selection. Requires a strong record of leadership and community service as indicated on the application for admission.|
Students may only receive the award with the highest value they are eligible for from the University Assured Scholarship or Partnered Scholarship categories. Exceptions include Oklahoma's Promise and Cowboy Covenant, which can be combined with one award in the University Assured Scholarship or Partnered Scholarship categories.

If selected, students may receive either the President’s Distinguished Scholarship OR the President’s Leadership Council Scholarship. Either award may be paired with other university scholarships.
ACT and SAT scores are computed without the essay score. SAT scores indicated here represent tests taken on or after the National March 2016 test (scores for tests taken prior to March 2016).
