Empty pockets

Need help with book costs?  Looking for a more inexpensive way to get your books?

The OSU Library will purchase one copy of every OSU textbook that meet the following criteria:

  1. Books that cost more than $100
  2. Books for classes which have more than 100 students enrolled (including courses with multiple sections)
  3. Note: this does not include textbooks which have loose leaf pages or workbooks which have pages which can be removed. It does not include access to the online components which some courses require.

Textbooks can be identified in BOSS (the Library catalog) searching for the title of the book. All course textbooks are kept on Reserve status in the Edmon Low Creative Studios (Room 105, first floor.) Textbooks can be checked out for two hours. There are scanners available in the Reference area on the first floor. If students need assistance searching the Library catalog for textbooks, stop by the Circulation and Information Desk, on the north side of the first floor of the Edmon Low Library.
